Stay tuned for a firmer release date for Secret Neighbor on Nintendo Switch as summer approaches. “Bagger will have extra storage space, Brave will be able to give everyone a speed boost, the Detective knows where the keys are, and more.” It sounds pretty fun to me, honestly. Likewise, the friendly players, called intruders, each have a class and different abilities as well. The Neighbor comes in different classes with different abilities. The Neighbor uses tools and gadgets to trap other players as they scavenge the house for keys to unlock the basement door. You watch for suspicious behaviors by your friends, knowing they might betray you. This is an experience unlike any other - Social Horror. Secret Neighbor even describes itself as being like The Thing in the sense that you are trying to deceive supposed allies. The Neighbors job is to gain the trust of other players and betray them. The problem is that one of the six players is secretly that evil Neighbor, who must set traps and use gadgets (“bear traps, a secret control room, smoke bombs,” etc.) to capture the other players.
The premise is that six players have to sneak into a house in order to rescue an innocent neighbor that they believe is trapped in the malevolent Neighbor’s locked basement. Secret Neighbor is a cartoonish multiplayer social horror game that exists as part of the larger Hello Neighbor franchise. We first received indication that Secret Neighbor would arrive on Switch last month, when a rating for the game appeared out of Taiwan. The game has been available on PC since 2019.

At last, tinyBuild has announced that Secret Neighbor is coming to Nintendo Switch, in addition to PlayStation 4 and iOS.
